Hellenic Republic, opening Friday 5th December

In less than 2 weeks, Hellenic Republic will open to the public.  A taverna in the tradional sense, but with the contemporary style that charecterises it as one of George Calombaris' venues. 

The menu is entirely Greek - fresh food and simple flavours designed to be shared at a table of friends.  The meats and seafod will be healthily cooked over our purpose built grill, designed to bring the best out of food.  You will be able to watch as the chefs prepare your meal; not only is there an open kitchen but our massive rotisserie spits will be on show. 

Keeping to the traditional theme, we will be offering wine from the very best loacl producers in karafes. Freshly squeezed juices and seriously good coffee will be available for breakfast on the weekend.  And it wouldn't be a taverna without ouzo available by the karafaki!
