INTERNAL EVENTS

Hosted by Steve Agi of BeanScene magazine in the brand new Little Press & Cellar, this will be a highly caffeinated experience like no other.

Chefs George Calombaris and Joe Grbac will present a multi-course feast designed specifically to enrich and enhance the flavours of some of the best coffee available, including Genovese Coffee, Gridlock Coffee, Jack and the Bean, Australian Independent Roasters and Crivelli Coffee. These roasted coffees will be presented to guests through the recently launched Bunn-O-Matic – Trifecta single cup filter brewer.

Main course will be matched to an espresso provided by the iconic Vittoria Coffee and dessert will be complimented by a traditional Greek coffee selected by George himself.  Wines for the evening are selected by head sommelier, Marc Esteve Mateu.

Cuisine and Caffeine is a unique and exclusive event bringing together the fine-food and coffee industries, with a common view to share in the quintessential experience of matching and enjoying some of the world’s best food and coffee in contemporary new surroundings.

MasterChef Australia wrap party

George Calombaris in the brand new Little Press & Cellar on Sunday 1st August to farewell the 2010 series of MasterChef Australia. Join George has prepared a menu for the evening including a delicious selection of meze from the Little Press menu, perfect to enjoy while mingling with friends. Coupled with some of our favourite beverages, this is a chance to reminisce on the biggest cooking show of 2010 and maybe learn some of the secrets from behind the scenes.

The working week wraps itself up in the most delicious way at this luscious cocktail party where Young Guns winemakers show their stuff - think Mt Langhi Ghiran, Collector, the Wanderer, Mac Forbes, Ocean Eight, Ngeringa and Cien Y Pico - while the staff at the new Little Press shimmy their way through the crowd with modern-Greek meze to the backbeat of cool tunes and a laidback groove.
